Education

Kent C. Olson Kent C. Olson is assistant librarian for public services at the University of Virginia School of Law, Charlottesville, where he teaches a course in advanced legal research. He has written and co-written several books and articles on law and law research, including Legal Research in a Nutshell, 7th ed., and How to Find the Law, 9th ed., as well as the "Law" section of the American Library Association's Guide to Reference Books, 11th ed.

Olson's Legal Information: How to Find It, How to Use It has been selected for several honors including Best Reference Sources of 1999 by Library Journal; Outstanding Academic Book, 1999 by CHOICE; and the American Association of Law Libraries' annual Joseph L. Andrews Bibliographical Award.
